Introduction To Nitrogen Generators

Apr 16, 2026 Leave a message

A nitrogen generator is a device that utilizes air as a raw material and employs physical methods to separate oxygen from nitrogen, thereby producing nitrogen gas. Industrial nitrogen generators are typically classified into three categories, depending on the separation method employed: cryogenic air separation, molecular sieve air separation (PSA), and membrane air separation.

The nitrogen generator is a nitrogen production system designed and manufactured based on Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology. Utilizing high-quality imported carbon molecular sieves (CMS) as the adsorbent, the system applies the principle of pressure swing adsorption at ambient temperature to separate air and generate high-purity nitrogen. Typically, the system employs two adsorption towers connected in parallel; controlled by an imported PLC unit, imported pneumatic valves operate automatically to alternate between pressurized adsorption and depressurized regeneration cycles, thereby achieving the separation of nitrogen from oxygen and producing the required high-purity nitrogen gas.
